Khanh Linh
Khanh Linh, is a respected Sydney-based bonsai artist who has dedicated more than 27 years to refining the art of miniature landscapes. His journey began at just 12 years old under the guidance of his grandfather, laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of nature and traditional Vietnamese culture. Today, he is recognised as a leading practitioner of Hon Non Bo, the Vietnamese art of creating intricate living landscapes that harmoniously combine mountain, forest and water elements within shallow trays.
Based in Bonnyrigg, New South Wales, Khanh Linh plays an active role in the Australian bonsai community, regularly sharing his knowledge through demonstrations and workshops with groups such as the Newcastle Bonsai Society and the Central Coast Bonsai Society. His work has also been featured on national stages, including exhibitions at the National Arboretum in Canberra, and he frequently appears on SBS Vietnamese, where he educates audiences on bonsai care and techniques.
An innovator as well as an artist, Khanh Linh is also recognised for his practical horticultural expertise, including specialised grafting methods for tropical fruit trees. His blend of creativity, technical skill and generosity in sharing knowledge has earned him a strong reputation as both an accomplished bonsai artist and a skilled horticulturalist.
